Description: Grief and loss is a universal experience. Whether we endure it in our personal lives or in the work we do every day as behavioral health professionals, it can be particularly difficult to understand and navigate. Throughout this training, we will consider different perspectives and models of the grief and loss process, particularly in regards to client loss in a behavioral health setting. The effects of client loss will be explored as well as tools and techniques to better cope with loss in the work environment. This is an interactive training that provides and opportunity to explore healthy coping skills surrounding client loss as well as to normalize associated thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Video and microphone required.
